Crossroads Bible Church is a non-denominational Bible teaching and preaching ministry located in Double Oak, Texas.  The focus of ministry at CBC is the person and work of Jesus Christ our Lord.  We emphasize the fact of God's grace and His free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ alone, which is received by faith alone.

Frequently-asked questions:

What to Wear

Do you have a dress code?
Our atmosphere is comfortable and our style and dress vary.  Some folks dress more traditional (men in coat and tie and women in dresses), others dress business casual and still others contemporary casual.  The bottom line is--come as you feel comfortable.

"God sees not as man sees, for man looks on the at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."  1 Sam 16:7

What to Bring

  Do I need a bible?
As you would guess by our name, we do emphasize learning from the bible.  Feel free to bring your own, or bibles are available for you at the front desk in the event you need one.

Parking and Entering

Where do I park?
There are two designated areas, an upper and a lower parking.   We recommend that all newcomers park in the upper area so we may greet you at the visitors' table and help direct you.

Passengers needing special assistance.
Passengers needing special assistance, handicapped, elderly, single parent with small children… may use the covered circle driveway located on the upper parking level.  Our greeters are available to assist you with drop-off and pick-up.

What can I expect as I enter your church?
A warm and friendly welcome and people available to assist you.  Our environment is comfortable.  The Welcome Center in the front lobby is staffed with individuals to assist you. Nametags are provided but not mandatory.   Someone will accompany you to your next location (Worship Service or Sunday School classes.)  Our Café with complementary coffee and tea also available when you enter Crossroads.  Make yourself at home.

Infants and Toddlers

What kind of child care do you provide for babies?
Our goal is for all teachers to be well trained and C.P.R. certified.  Hygiene practices that keep equipment clean and sanitary are implemented.  Bible Lessons and learning experiences are planned with the child’s age and ability in mind.

What should I bring when packing a diaper bag?
Please include 3 disposable diapers, a change of clothing in case of accidents, labeled bottles, cups and snacks.  For safety, CBC has a policy of not giving unlabeled snacks or drinks to children.

What if I want to keep my baby with me?
Parents who wish to keep babies and toddlers by their side may enjoy the glass-walled Parents' Luxury Suite located in the sanctuary. It allows you a little privacy, lets you watch the service live, and helps lessen the worry you might have of disturbing others.

Do you have a place for me to nurse my baby?
A nursing mom’s lounge is provided for you.  You may continue to observe the Worship Service through the closed circuit TV.

What about diaper changing?
All restrooms are furnished with diaper changing stations.
