| Music Camp is a week-long camp for children in 3rd through 6th grades during which children learn a musical drama that they use to lead a worship service for friends and family on Friday night. In addition at working hard at learning to lead worship, children participate in a small group Bible study daily in which they explore the truths from God's Word that are presented in the musical. They also take time out daily for a fun activity such as bowling, roller skating, watching a movie, visiting a bounce house, or playing games here at CBC. | ||||||||||

Cross Country. Put on those running shoes, stretch out those muscles, and prepare for loads of fun as you take up your cross and follow Jesus! In Hebrews 12:1-2 it says, “A huge cloud of witnesses is all around us. So let us throw off everything that stands in our way. Let us throw off any sin that holds on to us so tightly. Let us keep on running the race marked out for us. Let us keep looking to Jesus. He is the author of faith. He also makes it perfect. He paid no attention to the shame of the cross. He suffered there because of the joy he was looking forward to. Then he sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Cross Country reminds us to keep our eyes focused on Jesus as we run the race of life. There are so many problems we must face in this world. Cross Country teaches us to give those problems to the Lord and take up his cross daily to follow Jesus. Jesus is our true Friend. He is our Savior. He is our Lord. All of these truths are learned through songs and skits. Daily small group Bible studies enable kids to learn the truths of the songs more completely. Scripture-centered songs in a variety of styles ensure that kids will have FUN while they sing! So take up your cross and join us for an exciting week at Cross Country! |
